Death Race 2000 vs
Scenario
A father and son working as security guards for an armored truck company encounter a team of would-be robbers on a bridge. They fall into a trap and must come up with a plan to escape and ensure their survival. The only time Sly played an antagonist was in Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over in 2003. David Carradine in 1975.
APC relies heavily on GPS tracking systems to improve its security
If something goes wrong – whether it’s an accident, an attack or an unexpected stop – GPS data helps emergency services understand the situation and get to the vehicle quickly. Ok… I know some people may say it’s in a little bad taste, because Bruce Willis probably knew he was sick and just decided to make as many movies (and dollars) as possible before it was too late, but he often did. little effort in low budget DTV movies in the last 7-8 years of his career and it reminds me of Stallone in that regard.
But this movie
Don’t get me wrong. I love Tulsa King and I think Stallone can still be pretty good on screen even in his late 80s. Of course, at some point at this age, the acting roles may dry up, but he’s still there. He still looks cool and badass.
The film is not scary
it just seems like they knew they would sell it by putting his name on it because NO ONE would watch it otherwise. It is not an action film at all, more like a "thriller" (and I use that loosely) and there are some interesting bits between the father and son dynamic. But even though these characters are somewhat likable, you wonder how they could possibly stretch it into a 90-minute movie. This could have been a 40 minute short film (or an episode of a TV show) and it would have made sense.
His fan or not, you can skip it
But the plot is too thin for 90 minutes, and there are glaring flaws that you’ll notice because the villains can’t break through. Very minimal use of CGI, but it’s very easy to spot when it happens, which shows that the budget was VERY low. If Stallone’s name wasn’t in it, this movie probably wouldn’t be rented or bought by many people.
